My work has been published in literary and lifestyle magazines including, Dorothy Parker's Ashes, Read650, Talking Writing, The South Shore Review, Canada’s History Magazine, Dreamers Creative Writing, Roi Faineant, Five Minute Lit, and Split Rock Review.

 

For many years, my occupation as a social worker provided me with the opportunity to hone my skills in writing by crafting newsletters, life histories, and journal articles. In the year 2000 I started a new chapter in my life when I married a British man. His job relocated us from Canada to Wisconsin, Scotland, the British Virgin Islands, and Montana moving a total of ten times in fourteen years. During this time we witnessed five of our six children get married, and welcomed new additions to our blended family with the birth of seven grandchildren.

 

In 2014 we moved back to Canada and now live in Stratford, Ontario where the hiking trails are gorgeous in every season, the coffee shops are abundant and we're able to attend Stratford's amazing productions of plays and musicals performed as part of the Stratford Festival each year. This is my happy place.
